We purchased this for my son in scouts. He loves sleeping in this way more than his tent.It is small enough to carry when he is canoeing or hiking, but supports him easily.
Product functioned well. We used it for camping on the river. Had difficulty keeping from being rolled up by the hammock. Instruction were difficult to understand, however common sense helped bridge the gap on parts of it.
This is my first ever hammock tent and I love it. Lightweight, I'm 5"3 and it's more than enough room for a pad and a hefty sleeping bag. Straps are durable and the cords included are good. Folds in on itself in its side pocket, which is nice. The tarp is decent quality as well. Great first timer purchase for anyone looking to get out there and camp! Way better than a traditional tent in my opinion.
I bought this Hamic for my son for a backpacking trip. The Hamic is well made the screen does it’s job and I would definitely buy this again.However the tarp that goes over top in my opinion can be a little bit longer to help protect from the elements when it’s raining sideways. I think another 6 to 12 inches would make it perfect.
After reading some reviews I took the chance on this hammock setup and purchased 2 one for me and my wife, we tried them out and both have no issues with them, the night we camped it did rain and as noted by others the rain flys aren’t the best. However if set up properly they do protect from rain and other things like sap, one of ours was completely dry in the morning and the other was slightly wet on a side that was out just alittle. Overall great product would purchase again.
